2001 Impala SS

An LS1 powered 2001 Impala SS was on display at the car plant in Oshawa, where I work.  No

info was given about it going into production.  The last we heard it was cancelled.  5.7L LS1,

Front Wheel Drive, Automatic Transmission, 17" wheels, big honkin' tail pipes.  Track looks

wider and better than the standard Impala.  Surprising to see that the engine compartment

doesn't appear to be any more crammed than the V6 car.  Very nice looking in all Black with

SS badging on the bumpers.
