Australia's "Police Package" Holden Commodore SS

I have seen a couple of posts over the months about guys commenting on the Holden Commodore.  While I was in Australia to watch my sister play in the Olympics (Denise Carrière, Canadian Women's Softball Team), I took some pictures of the Commodore SS in Police trim.  I talked to the Sgt. who said that there is a specific "Police Package" available, but, in general, they purchase civilian Commodore SS's as they have the same mechanical pieces.  Sort of like Terry "I Am The Heat!" Fiene and his Impala SS patrol car.  The cars are very easy to sell after their short service life.  The cars are kept for approximately 40,000 km and then sold.  At a profit, actually, since the Force does not pay taxes.
